As an Equity Analyst,you will be in charge of providing investment research on small-cap and mid-cap growth stocks,and make recommendations for fund portfolios to the European office. You will be responsible for the research on various industries and miscellaneous projects and will be in charge of reviewing and preparing reports using markets data services (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters). You will also be involved in the idea generation for new primary, secondary and listed private equity investment opportunities and the financial analysis of new investments. You will report directly to the European office.

Skill Set

• Candidate should have prior work experience in equity research or investment banking. Strong understanding of accounting and financial statements and are familiar with the Financials or Technology industries
• Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Should be able to work independently and should be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of PC applications especially Word and Power point.
• Self motivation and high energy is a must, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
• This position would suit individuals currently working in a research environment, preferably in the financial industry or recent university graduates.

The job is based in Pune but may require short-term travelling to client site based abroad.

Additional Information

Experience : 1-5 years in Equity Research or Investment Banking.
Education : Masters Degree or a Ph.D in the field of Finance.
